Learning Objectives

 

OrM-01.  Demonstrate exposure to IT Governance.

OrM-02.  Demonstrate familiarity with the general fit and form of the IT organization.

OrM-03.  Demonstrate familiarity with the strategic planning process, and the options for organizational structure and service offerings.

OrM-04.  Demonstrate familiarity with the relationship between business services and the IT systems and processes used to provide and manage them.

OrM-05.  Demonstrate familiarity with the need for IT process control and the tools and documentation needed for success.

OrM-06.  Demonstrate a working knowledge of how to use vision, mission, and goals to direct organizational performance.

OrM-07.  Demonstrate a working knowledge of the relationship between IT and other organizational units and the importance of service alignment.

OrM-08.  Develop a working knowledge of what policies and procedures are required to adequately document and control the activities of an IT organization.
